UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY (UPS)

The UPS:

• Is a safety device incorporated into the Standardized Robotic System that provides redundant power in case of a vehicle electrical system malfunction
• Provides sufficient power to keep the VCU functioning, and power the brake and throttle High Integration Actuators to safely bring the vehicle to a full stop

UPS battery charging is monitored and maintained by the Power System Unit.
