PITCH, ROLL, AND BEARING SENSOR (PRBS)

SRS Pitch, Roll, and Bearing SensorThe PRBS:

  • Senses robotic vehicle direction and attitude using a two-axis tilt sensor and a three-axis magnetometer mounted on a single printed circuit board
  • Uses the same enclosure as the Microphone Box and Manual/Auto Switchbox

Pitch (rotation about the vehicle’s Y-axis), roll (rotation about the vehicle’s X-axis), and bearing (vehicle compass heading) information from the PRBS are supplied to the Vehicle Control Unit for display on the Operator Control Unit.
