COLOR VIDEO
CAMERA (CAM)
 The
Standardized Robotic System CAM is a high-resolution
color video feedback device for vehicles under autonomous or telerobotic
control.
The CAM:
- Is a rugged,
weatherproof unit capable of surviving hostile environments
- Mechanically interfaces
with a Pan/Tilt Unit or a Manual
Pan/Tilt Unit
- Has a printed
circuit board, high-resolution video camera, a transparent window, and
an electrostatic discharge protection board
The
transparent window is coated internally and externally to prevent fogging
and consequent video degradation. Video camera images are displayed on
a liquid crystal display at the Operator Control
Unit.
